THANK YOU FOR YOUR TRUST IN ELECTING ME TO THE CUMBERLAND CITY COUNCIL

In the midst of the worst recession since the Great Depression, the City of Cumberland faces real challenges.  We need jobs.  We need to fund public safety.  We must keep up with an aging infrastructure originally created for and funded by a population twice its current numbers.  WE NEED LEADERSHIP.

Fortunately - ours is not a hopeless situation...  We have ample opportunities and resources in Cumberland which enable us to remain optimistic of our future. 

I am serving as your representative on the Cumberland City Council.  By facing our challenges head on, I am insisting that we pursue sound strategies towards revenue creation that do not simply rely on further taxing the present population.

Times are tough.

We must accelerate our efforts in attracting jobs and residents to Cumberland – our city’s future relies on it!
